Designing Research Study
One thing I've learned about the processes of designing a sound research study in class is the need to allocate time. Making time to carry out each step of the research process makes it much easier to handle and improves the quality of one's work. One thing that this process has taught me in terms of my future role as a professional and technical communicator is that many of the steps needed when doing a research paper are a lot like technical writing jobs. One example of this is researching information for grant proposals. The information on a grant proposal must be credible and have evidence to show it. Without this information credibility, the content of one's work is disregarded.
